About the Owner
Eugene Mazza, Founder and President, Mazza Building and Development Company.
At the young age of 14, Eugene Mazza already had a vision for his future. Stemming from a family of Michigan-based business owners, he dreamt of establishing and overseeing a business of his own.
Eugene applied for a job with a concrete crew that frequented his father’s Oakland County restaurant, Jerry’s Coney Island, and for the next six years, he gained experience working for 3 different concrete construction companies installing work consisting of residential and commercial concrete flatwork and foundations.
With his passion for concrete construction firmly established, Eugene founded Mazza Company Concrete, Inc. Shortly after, Eugene purchased, remodeled, and sold his first home discovering an entirely different passion —home building and renovation.
Inspired by the work ethic, integrity, and honesty of his father and grandfather, Eugene decided to create his second business — Mazza Building and Development Company. Owned and operated in Oakland County, the company is currently licensed by the State of Michigan, and is able to provide building and renovation services throughout the entire Upper and Lower Peninsulas.
Since 1942, the Mazza family has served the Oakland County area, and with more than 25 years of experience under his belt, Eugene is determined to continue his family’s tradition of top-notch customer service.
